“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” — 1 Corinthians 13:13
Bradley Paul Alexander
Bradley Paul Alexander, 48, of Houston, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2026.
Bradley was born on July 29, 1977, in Kingsville, Texas, to Robert “Sandy” and Jeanie Alexander. He grew up in Kingsville, where he graduated from H.M. King High School with the Class of 1996.
He is survived by his loving husband, Dustin Alexander; his parents, Sandy and Jeanie Alexander; his sister, Amy Buchanan (Jon); and his nephews, Addix, Creed, and Summit Buchanan. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Donna Woodrome, and nephew, RJ Woodrome, of Arizona, along with his dear friends Chris and Candace Young, and countless other family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were touched by his kindness.
Bradley earned a degree in Horticulture and Landscaping from Sam Houston State University and spent his career doing what he loved most, working outdoors and helping things grow. He owned his own landscaping business before advancing into a management position with IMS Landscape Services in the Houston area. Landscaping wasn’t simply his profession; it was his passion.
Bradley had a gift for making people feel welcome. He could “charm the horns off a billy goat,” as his father put it, and his warm smile had a way of instantly putting others at ease. Though he often joked that he wasn’t the best student, his teachers adored him because of his generous spirit and genuine concern for others. Like his mother, Bradley never met a stranger. He cared deeply for people and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
His love for animals rivaled his love of landscaping. Earlier in life he worked for the well-known Kingsville veterinarian, Dr. Pat “Doc” Hubert, and many believed he would have made an outstanding veterinarian himself. His greatest companion in recent years was his beloved dog, Frasier, whose loyalty and unconditional love brought Bradley endless joy.
An outdoorsman through and through, Bradley loved fishing, hunting, floating the Frio River, driving tractors, eighteen-wheelers, and just about anything with wheels and a motor. He loved horses and always dreamed of being a cowboy and rodeo star. He also possessed a beautiful singing voice and, in recent years, challenged himself to learn guitar, a testament to his determination and willingness to keep growing.
Two of Bradley’s proudest moments came during the last year of his life. One was performing on stage alongside his father and the family band, Sandy’s Six-Pack, before a crowd of nearly 2,000 people. The other, and by far the greatest joy of his life, was marrying his soulmate, Dustin, on March 6, 2026. Their love brought Bradley immense happiness, and the months they shared as husbands were filled with laughter, faith, and deep devotion to God and to one another.
Bradley was a member of the Church of Christ in Kingsville and later attended Clear Creek Community Church in the Houston/League City area.
Bradley will be remembered for his infectious smile, his generous heart, his love of the outdoors, his compassion for animals, and the countless lives he brightened simply by being himself. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
A memorial service celebrating Bradley’s life was held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in Kingsville, Texas. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA of Polk County in Livingston, Texas, where Bradley adopted his beloved dog, Frasier, or to your local dog rescue shelter. Donations may be made in memory of Bradley or Frasier.
