Leda Charlene Conner

Leda Charlene Conner (Diffendaffer), aged 85, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026 in Katy, Texas after a long battle with Dementia. Born on January 26, 1941, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Leda lived a life filled with love, family, and cherished traditions.

 

On September 1, 1961, Leda married Ralph Conner, with whom she shared a devoted marriage until his passing. Together, they created a home centered around family and friends. Leda was a loving mother to her son Mark Conner and late daughter Mary Alice Conner. She found great joy in her role as a grandmother to Blaine Conner, Bailey Conner, and Brenna Calderon.

 

Leda’s passions extended beyond her family to the outdoors and the companionship of animals. She treasured camping trips with loved ones, creating memories that will be held dear for generations. Her garden was a source of pride and beauty, filled with roses and other plants that reflected her nurturing spirit. Leda’s home was always warmed by the presence of dachshunds and other beloved pets who brought her endless comfort.

 

She is survived by her sister Kathy Browne; her son Mark Conner and his wife Pam (Foiles); and her grandchildren Blaine and Bailey Conner. Brenna and her husband Santana Calderon. She is predeceased by her husband Ralph; daughter Mary Alice; brother Phillip Brooks; and sisters Paula Karlskint, Ellen Jacobs, and Elizabeth Clary.

 

Leda will be remembered for her dedication to those she loved and the strength that defined her character. Her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
