Lisa was a devoted and loving daughter to Virginia Cordova and a cherished sister to her brother, Matthew Cordova. Her pride and joy was her daughter, Cierra Cordova, who carries on Lisa's vivacious spirit and laughter. Lisa’s life will be commemorated in a private Celebration of Life to be held at a later date, allowing loved ones to gather and honor her enduring legacy. A graduate of Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University in San Marcos, Lisa was a dedicated higher education professional with more than 20 years of experience. Her career was marked by her ability to bring people together, fostering growth and development across multi-campus environments. She exhibited exemplary academic and professional leadership, leaving an indelible mark on those she worked with. Lisa was known for her warm personality and could always light up any room she entered. Her loyalty and kindness were evident in her friendships and professional relationships, and she was never without a touch of humor. Among her interests, she loved watching college football, proudly supporting the Razorbacks, and had a passion for exploring new places and trying different foods – always seeking out the unique and the delicious. As those who were fortunate to know her reflect on her life, Lisa will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, infectious laugh, and the way she embraced everyone she met – never having met a stranger. Her memory will forever shine bright in the hearts of her family and friends. Lisa’s life was a testament to the joys of finding delight in the everyday and cherishing every relationship. Her family encourages condolences to be shared personally, in keeping with her lighthearted and deeply personal approach to life and love. May her soul find eternal peace and may her spirit continue to inspire those she left behind.
