**Obituary for David William Coday** It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David William Coday, who departed this life on March 31, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Born on August 24, 1978, in Houston, David was a beloved husband, brother, grandson, and friend. His generous spirit and loving nature touched the lives of everyone around him. David was a devoted husband to his wife, Katie Neuwirth, and cherished his family and friends deeply, which included his sister Kayla Dobbs and Grandmother Joyce Marie Darnaby Ibison. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered by his Step Father Jamie Dobbs, his Aunt Sabrina Schiele, Uncle's Thomas "Chick" Schiele and William "Perk" Ibison, as well as his Cousin's Crystal, Thomas Jr., and Adam Schiele. David was preceded in death by his Grandfather, William Edward Ibison, his Mother, Angela Ruth Dobbs, and his Father in Law, Richard Keith Neuwirth Sr. Known for his kindness, sense of humor, and loyalty, David had a way of making everyone feel special. He was not only kind-hearted but also a skilled craftsman, with a keen interest in playing the guitar and artistry. David found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was cooking for a crowd while listening to music, hunting, fishing, or spending time with loved ones. His laughter and generosity will be sorely missed. A ceremony to honor David's life will be held at Coram Deo Community Church, located at 1040 US HWY 190 W, Oakhurst, TX 77360, at 1:00 PM, with food and refreshments to follow. In this difficult time, the family invites those who wish to express their condolences to send flowers to their home at 744 Lakeview Harbor, Onalaska, TX 77360. David William Coday will always be remembered as a loving individual whose light brought warmth to many. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he shared in life.
