Dwayne Alan Jones, 67, passed away on March 17, 2026 in Houston,TX.

Born on February 1st in Goliad Texas, Dwayne was the beloved son of Patricia Kinney Peyton and Dave Jones Sr, both of whom preceded him in death, along with his stepfather, Elbert Peyton. He was preceded in death by one sibling, Dave Jones, Jr. He is survived by his remaining siblings and family who will remember him for his humor, strength, kindness, and individuality. Dwayne was the father of two children, with whom he shared a connection in earlier years.

Throughout his life, Dwayne will be remembered for his independent spirit, love of music, dedication to his work, and sense of humor. He lived his life in his own way and left a lasting impression on those who knew him. He will be remembered and missed by his family and those whose lives he touched.

In accordance with his wishes, no memorial service or funeral will be held.
