LISA ANN KNUTESON-NIELSEN IS ONE OF GOD'S GREATEST ANGELS WATCHING OVER US. HER LOVE, PASSION, SELFLESSNESS BUT MOST OF ALL AMAZING SPIRIT WILL GUIDE US THROUGH LIFE. WALKING NEXT TO US, NOTHING SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE.

In Loving Memory of Lisa Ann Knuteson-Nielsen February 12, 1982 – February 16, 2026 Lisa Ann Knuteson-Nielsen, born February 12, 1982, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on February 16, 2026. Born the third of seven children to William and Kathy Knuteson, Lisa was the oldest sister — a role she filled with boldness, humor, and a little bit of wild magic. She was the family’s adventurer, the one always ready to say, “Let’s go.” She grew up surrounded by a huge, vibrant family. Summers meant Oceanside — where the crew could number 80 or 90 people at a time. It was loud, sandy, chaotic, and full of life — and Lisa fit right into the center of it. She had nieces and nephews who adored her, sisters-in-law she was close to, and cousins for days who loved her fiercely. Family was never small for Lisa — it was expansive, deep, and constant. Lisa traveled the world with fearless curiosity — from wandering through castles to finding the best bakeries in Paris, to exploring tiny German towns where no one spoke English. She didn’t wait for comfort or perfect plans. She chased experience. She chased stories. She chased the feeling of being fully alive. The ocean, though, was where she was happiest. Scuba diving was her freedom — suspended in blue water where there was no weight to the world and no stress to carry. Beneath the surface, she found peace. In the water, she was light.Above all, Lisa was a mother. Her three children — Anthony, Andie Kate, and Parker Nielsen — were her greatest loves and proudest accomplishment. They were the center of her world and the reason she kept dreaming bigger.Lisa built a career she was deeply proud of as a dental hygienist. She was talented, compassionate, and dedicated — so much so that her name was on the door. Her patients trusted her not only for her skill, but for her warmth. She leaves behind her parents, William and Kathy Knuteson; her children; her siblings; her extended family; and her fiancé, Martin Santos. Lisa will be remembered as the wild heart of the family — adventurous, loving, strong-willed, and unapologetically herself. Though her time on this world was far too short, the imprint she leaves on those who loved her is immeasurable. Her waves will never stop reaching us.
