Souvenirs

John 14;27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth , give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled , neither let it be afraid.

It is with heavy hearts, we share that Maida Claudette Roloff was called home to the Lord.  She passed peacefully into his arms on March 31, 2026.

Claudette was born on September 15, 1938, in Littlefield, Texas to Claude Alton Renfro and Mary Etna Renfro.  An only child, she was lovingly raised with the close presence of her grandmother and aunt, who played an important role in her upbringing.   She fell in love with her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Larry Roloff, and they married on August 18, 1956, at First Baptist Church in Littlefield, Texas.  Together they built a life centered on love, faith and family, raising three children: Kathye, Steve and Kym.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life.  The compass that guided her through every season of joy and sorrow.  She lived her faith with quiet strength and deep love for her family, sharing with those around her life’s most valuable lessons by the example she set each day.  She showed us the power of faith, the importance of family, and her graceful resilience in the face of adversity.

She will be remembered by all of us, sitting in her chair in the early morning , coffee in hand, with her bible and daily journal, faithfully spending time in prayer.  In those quiet moments, and in the way she cared for her family each day, she had a steady , unwavering devotion that touched the lives of everyone that knew her.

Claudette is survived by her daughter, Kym Broussard; her grandchildren, Steven Roloff(Amanda), Meagan Franklin(Jeff), Cali Bond, Kayla Roloff, Cody Broussard(Raven), Brooke Barnes (Brandon), Todd Broussard(Lindsey), and ten great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Roloff, parents Alton Renfro, and Mary Young (Marshall), Lorraine Welborn(Granny Auntie) , her beloved grandmother, her eldest daughter Kathryn Roloff, and her son, Steve Roloff.

Her faith has become sight , and her love will remain with us always.

“Well done , good and faithful servant”. Matthew 25;23
