Kevin Robert Wurtenberg

Kevin R. Wurtenberg, aged 76, born on July 15, 1949 in Ithaca, NY, passed away on March 17, 2026 in Huntsville, TX, surrounded by his three sons, Cory, Derek and Keith.

 

A beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, Kevin will be remembered for his willingness to help a friend in need and his dry sense of humor. He enjoyed playing high school football and loved competing in motocross racing, and earned his Engineering Degree at Cornell University in New York. Kevin was widely respected for his intelligence and commitment to his work in his long career and retired from working as Facilities Manager for a major CAT dealership.

 

He is survived by his siblings and their spouses: Bill (Gail), Sue (Tom), Jim (Kathy), Cindy (Chris), and his life partner of 15 yrs, Chenenna Scott, who he shared his life with in Tampa, FL, Colorado Springs, CO and Huntsville, TX. 

 

In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated and the family will hold private services at a later date.
