Martha "Marti" Sanchez

In Loving Memory of Martha Ann Sanchez Callaway March 26, 1962 – October 15, 2025 Age 63

 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Martha Ann Sanchez, who left this world peacefully on October 15th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was at peace and free from pain.

 

Martha was a woman of incredible warmth, kindness, and creativity. She found true joy in spending time with her family and friends.  Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the smell of her homecooked meals. 

 

A woman of faith, Martha was a believer in God and was baptized, finding strength and comfort in her relationship with God. She had a special place in her heart for animals—especially her loyal service dog, Baloo—and they brought her great companionship and joy.

 

Gifted with artistic talent, she excelled in painting, quilting, and various forms of art. Her creativity shone brightly in everything she touched.  Above all, she will be remembered for her big heart, her kindness, and her gentle, loving spirit.

 

She is survived by her devoted husband, Rick Sanchez; her loving children, Justin Staats, Brielle Sanchez, and Marissa Whaley; and her cherished grandchildren, Stella Staats and Blaine Whaley. She also leaves behind her beloved mother, Annette Lee, and her brothers, Steven, Richard, and David Callaway.

 

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love and light will continue to live on in all who knew her.
