Keith Henry Kornahrens

Keith Henry Kornahrens peacefully passed away on May 13, 2026, in Houston, Texas. He was 67 years old, just nine days shy of his 68th birthday.

 

Keith was born May 22, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, but as he liked to tell people, although he wasn’t born in Texas, he “got here as fast as he could.” Houston became home, and he never looked back.

 

He spent his career as a construction superintendent specializing in tilt wall commercial buildings. His family is so proud of his impressive career and enjoys pointing out the buildings he put up around Houston.

 

Keith was a man’s man in every sense. You could find him with a Budweiser in hand, watching NASCAR, or out on the water fishing, his favorite place to be. When he wasn’t fishing, he was golfing or hunting.

 

He is survived by his daughters, Katie Marie Moreno and her husband Daniel, and Emily Marie Schitkovitz and her husband Matthew, their mother Marie, and his granddaughter Silver Lynn. He was preceded in death by his father Henry, his mother Mary and his little sister Karen.

 

His brother David passed away just hours after Keith did. The two were inseparable growing up, and it’s no surprise they couldn’t stay apart for long. Knowing Keith, he already had a line in the water and a cold one waiting for his broski.
