With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved Sylvia Elena Carrizales Trujillo passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on January 5, 1977, in Yuba City, California. Sylvia filled every year of her life with strength, honesty, and a profound devotion to the people she loved.

 

She leaves behind her husband, Sam, and her four children — Jessica, Genesis, Jiani, and Gavin — who were the center of her world. She is also held in the hearts of her parents, her siblings, and their families, all of whom she loved deeply and who stood by her throughout her life.

 

Sylvia had a way of touching people simply by being herself. Her determination inspired others, her honesty grounded those around her, and her ambition pushed her to create a life full of meaning. She cherished family traditions, big and small, and she created countless memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles to those who knew her best.

 

A celebration of Sylvia’s life will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 19222 Tomball Parkway Houston, TX 77070 on Friday, January 30, 2026. A Vigil Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. In remembrance of her fierce, perseverant spirit, we invite you to attend in bold or bright colors — just as she would have wanted.

 

Con inmenso dolor en nuestros corazones, compartimos que nuestra querida Sylvia Elena Carrizales Trujillo falleció tranquilamente el 22 de enero de 2026, a los 49 años.

 Nacida el 5 de enero de 1977 en Yuba City, California, Sylvia llenó cada año de su vida con fortaleza, honestidad y una entrega total hacia las personas que amaba.

 

Su esposo, Sam, y sus cuatro hijos  Jessica, Genesis, Jiani y Gavin fueron siempre el centro de su mundo, así como sus padres, sus hermanos y su familia,a quienes también amó profundamente y quienes la acompañaron a lo largo de su vida.

 

Sylvia tenía una manera especial de tocar la vida de los demás simplemente siendo ella misma. Su determinación inspiraba, su honestidad brindaba claridad y su ambición la impulsaba a construir una vida llena de propósito.

 

Valoraba profundamente las tradiciones familiares, creó lindos recuerdos que seguirán trayendo consuelo y sonrisas a quienes la amamos y los que la conocieron.

 

La celebración de la vida de Sylvia se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica Prince of Peace 19222 Tomball Parkway Houston, TX 77070 el viernes 30 de enero de 2026. El Rosario comenzará a las 9:30 a.m., seguido de la Misa a las 10:30 a.m. En honor a su espíritu valiente y vibrante, los invitamos a asistir vistiendo colores brillantes, tal como a ella le hubiera gustado.
