Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

With deep love and reflection, we announce the passing of Linda Jean Turnbull-Ford, who gained her wings on May 4, 2026, at the age of 70. Her strength, individuality, resilience, and the connections she created throughout her life will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved her.

Born in Rhode Island to Roy Turnbull and Nancy Jean Turnbull, Linda spent her childhood and young adulthood in Saginaw, Michigan, alongside her brothers, Roy and Christopher.

Linda lived life on her own terms: private, curious, resilient, and deeply caring. She spent the later years of her life in Orange, Texas, where she built meaningful friendships and found joy in the simple moments of everyday life, especially spending time with her dear friend, Mrs. Patt (RIP) and the LeBlanc Family.

Linda had a passion for caring for others and dedicated much of her life to working with and supporting the elderly, helping people in recovery, and encouraging others to live a life of sobriety or taking the prayer with and for them. Her compassion, strength, and nurturing nature touched many lives over the years. She also had a special love for adopting dogs, gardening, shopping, ballroom dancing, tanning, and spending time with friends over coffee, conversation, and a fresh cigarette at any hour of the day.

Linda loved reading and was known for her beautiful handwriting, often sharing her thoughts and memories in ways that made people feel connected and remembered.

She leaves behind her loving children: Shane (Leah) Hare, Kenya (Kelvin) Johnson, Tremayne (Sheena) Turnbull, and Chantell Turnbull; her 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; along with extended family members and cherished friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Nancy Jean Turnbull, and her brothers, Joey and Christopher.

Linda will be remembered for her strength, resilience, dark humor, and deeply individual spirit. While private in many ways, Linda shared pieces of herself that created meaningful and lasting memories for others.

Asha, Asha, Asha,

and so it is…
