Obituary for Sharon Plumb
It is with heartfelt sadness that we share the news of Sharon Plumb, who passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on September 26, 1947, in Lisbon, Ohio, she was a vibrant spirit who never met a stranger she didn’t embrace as a friend. Sharon was a loving mother to her son, Tyson, and a cherished sister to her siblings, Sally, Lucy, Sandra and Johnny. She also held a special place in her heart for her nieces Marti, Susan, LuBecca, Lacy, Jamie, Andrea, nephews Randy, Rick, Paul, John, Best Friend Michele, and her canine cuddle buddy, "Doc Holiday," all of whom she adored deeply. Throughout her life, Sharon wore many hats with pride. After graduating from Spring Branch High School, she became a licensed beautician, bringing a touch of beauty and care wherever she went. Her adventures continued with a successful career as an Outside Sales and Account Retention Manager in the Commercial Waste Industry, where her talent earned her the unforgettable nickname “The Terminator,” a testament to her incredible knack for closing deals and retaining large accounts. Sharon found joy in her role as a Riding Instructor and Equestrian Coordinator at Hill Country Youth Ranch and Boy’s and Girl’s Country in Waller. Her passion for horses was only rivaled by her deep faith in God and Jesus. She was also proud to be a lifetime committee member with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and an original committee member for the HLSR World Champion Barbecue Cook-off. With multiple awards, including a Team Penning Championship, her legacy in the equestrian world is inspiring and endearing. Sharon was known for her kindness, generosity, humor, and energetic spirit. She had a unique ability to connect with people, making friends wherever she went, often running into someone she knew at every turn. We celebrate her life and the joy she brought to all of us. A ceremony honoring Sharon will be held at Graceview Baptist Church, located at 21206 Telge Rd, Tomball, TX 77377. The service will be Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Sharon’s memory with a donation to her beloved church, which she supported wholeheartedly and where she was a part of their invaluable ministries: [Graceview Baptist Church Giving](https://www.graceview.org/give). Thank you for celebrating the remarkable life of Sharon Plumb, a true friend, mother, sister, and faithful servant. She will be profoundly missed.
