Morgan Earl "Bubba" Bradford, age 76, passed away surrounded by family on October 11, 2025.  He was born on April 8, 1949, in Conroe, Texas to Erna Margarete Pietsch and Earl Thomas Bradford.

In 1967, Morgan graduated from Madison High School in Houston, and then attended Alvin Junior College.  Morgan proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971 as a helicopter mechanic, which included a tour of duty in Vietnam.  Upon returning home, he began a long and dedicated career in fabrication for the petrochemical industry.

On April 28, 1973, Morgan married the love of his life, Susan Barrows. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and faith. He was a devoted husband to Susan, a proud father to John and Keith, and a deeply adoring grandfather to Owen, Rennyn, and Hannah - who lovingly called him "Weewah."

Later in life, Morgan pursued higher education, earning both his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education from the University of Houston.  He taught at several schools in Houston Independent School District, where he found deep fulfillment in guiding and encouraging his students.

Morgan's life was rich with passions and purpose. He loved woodworking, restoring old cars, and, above all, spending time with his family.  He cherished his travels to Germany - his Mother's birthplace.  He enjoyed special trips exploring New York with Keith and Ruth.  Some of his favorite memories included Saturday morning breakfasts with John and Michelle at Stanton's Shopping Center in Alvin.

A dedicated member of Temple Lodge #4 A.F. & A.M., Morgan also faithfully served as Junior Warden of St. George's and St. Patrick's Episcopal Church.  Even after retirement, he remained active in his hobbies, lodge, and church community - always placing family and friendship at the heart of everything he did.

Morgan is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Susan Bradford; sister, Sherry Bradford; sons, John Bradford and wife Michelle of Rosharon, TX and Keith Bradford and wife Ruth of Staten Island, NY; and grandchildren, Owen and Rennyn Bradford of Houston, TX and Hannah Bradford of Hopkinton, MA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Thomas Bradford, mother, Erna Margarete Bradford, twin sister, Margaret Ann Jamail, and many beloved family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or blood donations made in Morgan's memory.  The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and staff of the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center for the compassion and respect shown to Morgan while in their care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Temple Lodge #4 A.F. & A.M. 4055 W. Bellfort Houston, TX 77025. Reception to follow.
