Randy Jack Grounds

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Randy Jack Grounds, who left this world on March 19, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on July 7, 1959, in Houston, Texas, Randy lived a life filled with love, commitment, and an unwavering dedication to his family. Randy graduated from Northbrook Senior High School and went on to devote 35 years of his career to the oil industry. Throughout his working life, he was admired by his colleagues for his honesty and strong work ethic. More than just a provider, he was a source of strength for his family and an embodiment of loyalty and generosity. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Edna Mae Grounds, and his cherished daughters, Tara Brooks, married to Marcus Brooks, and Amy Grounds, partnered with Keon Herring. Randy's legacy also includes his grandchildren: Trey DeBose, who is partnered with Aaliyah Bennett, Tayah DeBose, Mariah Mae DeBose, Jacoby Jack Brooks, Maleah Grounds, Jace Brooks, and Makaylah DeBose, as well as his precious great-grandson, Noah Bennett. He filled their lives with joy and unforgettable memories, especially during family holidays, where his vibrant personality shone the brightest. Randy was known for his kindness, energy, and consideration for everyone around him. He had a passion for music and found joy in fishing, often sharing those moments with family. He loved cheering on his daughters and grandchildren in various sports, always the proudest supporter. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory. Flowers, arrangements and condolences can be sent to the Celebration of Life location. Randy Jack Grounds will be deeply missed, but his spirit and values will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who loved him
