Robert "Bob" Stephen Morrison

Robert "Bob" Morrison, a devoted husband, veteran, and family man, passed away on March 31, 2026, leaving a legacy of service and love. Born on March 9, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri, Bob was the youngest of four children born to James Morrison and Mary Guerin. He grew up in a lively household alongside his siblings Barbara, James, and Kay.  Bob was drafted into the US Army, serving with honor as a Military Tank Driver, while stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany.

Upon his return, he married the love of his life, Monica Hoerner, in August 1973. The couple relocated to Houston, Texas in September 1983 where they spent the remainder of their 52 beautiful years of marriage building a home with family and friends. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Monica; his son, Steven; his daughter, Angela, along with her husband, Chris Nooney.  He was a proud and doting Grandpa (Papa) to Gavin and Garrett. His memory will also be cherished by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss his presence dearly.

A committal service with military honors will be held on Friday, May 1st at 11:30 am sharp at Houston National Cemetery, located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive Houston, Texas 77038
