Tiffany Castor

**Obituary for Michael Douglas Castor** It is with a mix of laughter and tears that we announce the passing of Michael Douglas Castor, who, at 62 years young, traded his earthly mechanic's toolbox for a heavenly one on September 1, 2025, in Kingwood, TX. Born in the cheerful town of Cincinnati, OH, on September 16, 1962, Mike was a beacon of light and love to all who knew him. Preceded in death by his loving parents, Judith and Douglas, Mike leaves behind a family who adored him—his sisters, Michelle and Melissa; his cherished daughters, Tiffany and Kristy Lynn; and his four beloved grandchildren, who now face the daunting task of continuing their grandpa's legacy of humor and kindness. He also leaves behind an extraordinary set of in-laws and a treasure trove of friends who were lucky enough to have shared a laugh, a fishing trip, or perhaps a cold one with him. Mike was not just any mechanic; he was the best mechanic of all time—at least that's what the customers said! With grease on his hands and a smile on his face, he fixed everything from stubborn engines to the hearts of those around him, demonstrating remarkable generosity and kindness in every interaction. It wasn’t uncommon to find him with a wrench in one hand and a joke ready for delivery in the other. Described by those who loved him as funny, kind, loyal, honest, considerate, energetic, ambitious, and endlessly curious, Mike embodied the spirit of a man who truly lived life to the fullest. He loved fishing, spending time with family and friends, and, of course, enjoying a cold beverage while letting the good times roll. If there was a gathering, you could bet he was the first to bring the laughter and the last to leave with a big grin on his face. His family fondly remembers him as the calm in every storm; Mike had a way of turning troubles into tales of laughter. They remember him saying, "You were the light in every room, the calm in every storm, and the love in every heartbeat," and while his voice may be silent now, his spirit will echo in every good deed and kind word shared by those whose lives he touched. In honor of Mike's generous and loving spirit, we encourage everyone to take a moment to share a story, a laugh, or perhaps enjoy a cold drink in his memory. He wouldn't want it any other way—after all, life is too short not to celebrate the good times! As we gather to remember a truly remarkable man, let's carry forward his legacy of love and laughter. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
