In place of a traditional service, we invite you to honor Aida through a collective Day of Remembrance. On the one-month anniversary of her passing, we ask that you set aside an hour of quiet reflection to celebrate her life. Whether you gather with family, travel to be with old friends, or reflect in solitude, let us join our hearts across the distance to remember a woman of extraordinary spirit.

Un Día De Recordación - A Day of Rememberence

Aida Gutiérrez López Fernández

Lovestrong Cremation Center

On December 13, 2025, Aida Gutiérrez López Fernández, 91, returned to the arms of her Creator, leaving behind a legacy woven with faith, family, and joy. A native of Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late José Gutiérrez and Carmen María Colón.

Aida was a woman of elegance and deep devotion. She was the beloved wife of the late Francisco López and later, the late Héctor Fernández. As the matriarch of a large and loving family, she is survived by her children, Edwin, Mildred, and Aida; her five grandchildren, Michelle, Kimberly, Rebekah, Annette and Aaron; two great-grandchildren, Aria and Jack; and her step-daughter, Luzdenny, along with her step-grandchildren, Samantha, Tiago and Liro. Her sisters, Olga, Milagro, and Tata, will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.

Known for her signature hats and her love of dance, Aida brought light into every room. She was happiest when the kitchen was full of the aromas of her cooking and the sounds of her grandchildren's laughter. Her life was a beautiful service to God and a masterclass in kindness. While she will be deeply missed, her radiant smile and generous spirit remain an inspiration to all who were blessed to know her.
