"Dance is the hidden language of the soul." — Martha Graham

In loving memory of Mary "Beth" Elizabeth White, whose journey on this earth began on July 12, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland, and gracefully concluded on April 11, 2026, in Friendswood, Texas. Beth lived a life filled with love, kindness, and a spirit that inspired all who had the privilege to know her.

Beth, a beloved daughter of Roland and Shirley Sunderland (both deceased), was a shining beacon of affection in her family's life. She was the wife of James White (deceased) and cherished mother to her three children, Courtney Cross, who survives her, and her late son, Chad Hamilton, as well as her daughter, Mary Catherine, who both have passed. Her legacy of compassion and strength lives on through her daughter, Courtney, and her beloved grandson, Treymont Cross.

Throughout her career, Beth was a dedicated X-ray Technologist at Harbor Hospital from 1982 to 2006, where her commitment to patient care and her knowledge in the field earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and patients alike. She approached her profession with the same kindness and ambition that she brought to her personal life, leaving an indelible mark on those she served.

Beth's vibrant personality was complemented by her love for country music and dancing. She found joy in celebrating life’s little moments, often sharing laughter and creating memories with family and friends on the dance floor. Her generosity was unmatched, and she had a special way of making everyone feel cherished and valued.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Courtney Cross and Son-in Law Monte Cross III; her grandson, Treymont; step grandson Monte IV, and her sister, Terry Burton. She will be missed by her extended family, which includes her niece and nephews: Lisa Yacono, Shawn Howerton, Erik Kabik, and Chris Wolfing, who will always carry her spirit in their hearts.

A memorial service to honor Beth’s extraordinary life will take place in July 2026 in Baltimore, Maryland, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her legacy of love and laughter. Specific details will follow.

In the face of tremendous loss throughout her life, Beth showed resilience that inspired those around her. She embodied kindness, generosity, and ambition, reflecting a spirit that will continue to inspire and uplift even in her absence. May her memory be eternal, a testament to a life well-lived and a heart that gave so much love.

As we remember Beth, let us hold her in our hearts and honor her legacy through acts of kindness, love, and laughter, just as she did.
