Bobby Watkins

Lovestrong Cremation Center

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bobby "Bud" Jones Watkins, who departed from this life on August 27, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born on July 2, 1939, Bobby was a cherished soul who exemplified kindness, humor, and unwavering loyalty throughout his life.

Bobby spent over three decades as an accomplished auto mechanic, dedicating his career to Goodyear in Atlanta. His exceptional skills and commitment to his work earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike.

Beyond his professional life, Bobby had a passion for adventure, particularly when it came to riding motorcycles. He was never one to shy away from the open road and loved taking long rides on his Harley. Those who had the pleasure of joining him on these journeys will fondly remember his infectious enthusiasm and the joy he got from the freedom of the open road.

Bobby is remembered not just for his skills as a mechanic but for his warm personality that brought laughter and light to the lives of those around him. He was a devoted father, uncle and friend, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.

Bobby will be missed dearly, but his spirit will remain a guiding light for all who loved him.
