With deep love, I announce the passing of my mother, Janelle Freeny Scott, 88, who transitioned peacefully on January 30, 2026. I invite family and friends to join me in celebrating her life on Tuesday, February 10th at New Faith Church.

A Video Viewing will take place from 10:00–11:00 a.m. (this will be a video tribute only), followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. The repast will follow immediately after the service.

To honor my mother’s favorite color, I kindly ask guests to wear shades of purple.

In lieu of flowers, plants are preferred, or donations may be made in her honor to CarePartners Texas, whose mission is “to provide care, education, and support to older adults, including those with dementia, and their family caregivers.”
