Elaine Marie Petix-Patterson

Elaine Marie Petix-Patterson was born on August 9, 1944, in the Bronx, New York.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 21, 2026. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Fred Zilli, her mother, Albina Zilli, her sister, Louisa Whilde, her brother, Fred Zilli, and Michaeal J. Petix, and Jerry F. Patterson.

She is survived by her 3 sons and their families:  Jonathan, his wife Emily, and her grandsons, Cole and Ethan Petix.  Her son Darren Roy Petix.  Her son Michael F. Petix, his wife Tonya, and her grandsons Michael Jr. and Brandon Petix.

 

Elaine grew up in Bronx and Yonkers New York, and graduated from Mt. Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts.  She worked for Publisher's Clearinghouse in the Chrysler Building in New York City before marrying Michael Petix and relocating to Texas.  After moving to Texas, she worked for Continental/United Airlines until she retired in 2021. Later in Texas, she married Jerry Ford Patterson.  Elaine was fluent in both English and Italian and enjoyed traveling throughout her life and visited many countries throughout the world.  She will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
