Recuerdos

You can have a meeting without me, but I can't have a meeting without you!

Frankie Lee Milian (née Rachal) was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, on June 17, 1949, and passed away peacefully at home in Spring, Texas, on January 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Frankie was reunited in Heaven with her parents, her beloved husband of more than 30 years, and her sister. She leaves behind a devoted family who will carry her memory forward; her siblings, her children and their spouses, her treasured grandchildren, and her precious great-grandchildren.

A defining part of Frankie’s life was her dedication to Alcoholics Anonymous. She began her sobriety on August 20, 1999, a journey that profoundly shaped her relationships, her character, and her sense of purpose.

Frankie had a special love for quilting, pouring her heart into every piece she made. She loved being in the sun whenever she could — whether relaxing at the beach or tending her garden, hopefully catching a tan along the way. She enjoyed her British tv shows and found joy in reading books that transported her to different countries and cultures. She had a loud, unforgettable laugh that anyone who knew her could instantly recognize.

Frankie will be remembered for her deep love of family, her generous spirit, and the lasting impact she had on all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the generations she leaves behind.

A private service will be held at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church on Friday, February 13, 2026.
